The new AA!

NEW ULTRAVOLT® "AA" SERIES RELEASED FOR FULL PRODUCTION

RONKONKOMA, New York -- August 4, 2003 -- UltraVolt Inc., a world-leading manufacturer of high voltage power supplies, today announced the availability of the new "AA" Series of regulated high voltage DC to DC converters.

"The 'AA' Series has successfully completed alpha and beta testing and is ready for release," said James Morrison, Executive Vice President. "Delivering up to 6kV at only 3.35 cubic inches in volume, the 'AA' Series offers a 22% reduction in unit size compared with the standard 'A' Series product line, offering customers a new solution for their most compact high voltage designs."

The new "AA" Series four page data sheet contains detailed technical and physical specifications on the newest addition to UltraVolt's line of off-the-shelf standard products. With 8 models ranging from 0 to 62V through 0 to 6kV and output power at 0 to 4 Watts, 20 Watts and 30 Watts, the "AA" Series requires only 4.46 square inches of mounting space.

Complementing the "AA"s small size and high efficiency are tight regulation, low ripple, and good temperature stability along with all the built-in features and functions customers expect from an UltraVolt product, including output voltage and current monitors, and maximum Iout all the way down to 0 Volts. As with most UltraVolt products, the "AA" Series can be PCB or chassis mounted in the standard plastic package or outfitted with optional mu-metal shielding.
